Disney ... the end

We packed our things into the car and early in the morning we headed back home. Frederick Maryland is where my boyfriend lives so Mallory and Serge dropped Chris and I off at his house. This is where our Disney adventure ends...

DAY 7

DAY 7: Our Last Day in Disney

We planned on going to Blizzard Beach for the day but we woke up late and by that time we decided to just hangout by the pool with everyone. Pretty much everyone decided to do this for the day. Later that evening we went to Downtown Disney to go shopping and had dinner at Wolf Gang Pucks restaurant. This was our last day in Disney World. We went back to the hotel to pack and make sure we were ready to leave the next morning.

DAY 6

DAY 6: Animal Kingdom & MGM Studios

We started the day early at Animal Kingdom where we hit only the major attractions. We rode the roller coaster Everest, which was maybe one of the best rides at all of the parks. We played a few games and went to It’s a Bug’s Life animated 3D show. After we went to Animal Kingdom we used our hopper pass to go to MGM Studios. This also had some really good rides. The Tower of Terror and Rock “N” Roll Rollercoaster are in MGM Studios. The really cool part of MGM is that they have movie characters walk around the streets and act out different scenes. We wanted to see the Indiana Jones show but there weren’t any show times left when we got in the park. The park is full of different sets that make a great place to take pictures. We saw the Fantasmic water show which was really good and it included all the characters from Disney movies. The night we were at MGM they were offering “extra magic hours” bracelets. This is a program where if you are guest staying at a select Walt Disney World Resort. Since we were staying at one of these select resorts we received extra magic hour’s bracelets. This allowed us to stay in the park for a longer time period and the amount of guests in the park was limited because they only pass out a certain amount of bracelets. We stayed at the park for extra magic hours then we went to Plant Hollywood for dinner in Downtown Disney. This day was also really exhausting so we decided to go back to the resort and go to bed because we planned on waking up early the next day to go to Blizzard Beach.

DAY 5

DAY 5: Magic Kingdom

Today was my favorite of all the days. I couldn’t wait to go to the Magic Kingdom. We spent the entire day from about 9:00 in the morning till the park closed. The whole day we went on several different attractions pretty much hitting all of them. We had to take a break in the middle of the day and have lunch because it rained for about half an hour. It rained off and on for the rest of the day so when it would rain we went into different shows. We stayed till the park closed so we could watch the nighttime spectacular show they call Wishes. We were so exhausted after walking around the park in the heat all day we went back to our resort and passed out until the next morning.

DAY 4

DAY 4: Epcot

We all went to Epcot today where we went on several rides and went around the world! The beginning of the day we went on most of the attractions that we found appealing. We all really wanted to go on Fast Track but just before we were next the ride shut down for the evening which was a downer but we got to go on everything else. Then, after we were finished with the attractions we decided to go around the world. In Epcot they have different parts of the world that have the appearance of those countries. They have replica building, food and alcohol from each country. Some of the people we were with tried to “drink around the world”. We decided to have dinner in Mexico and catch a good seat for the firework show “Expressions”. We watched the firework show over the water and had margaritas until the park closed. After Epcot closed we went to the Boardwalk again to the ESPN Sports Bar and had a few more drinks. We also ended up playing a few carnival type games and won a few prizes before going back to the resort. When we got back we decided to go night swimming for a little then go to bed so we were ready for tomorrow.

DAY 3

DAY 3: Hangout at the Pool

Early this morning we had to move hotels, we are now at the Old Key West Resort. The reason we switched resorts is because until the surprise party Mallory couldn’t know everyone was in Disney so we stayed in at a different resort. Now, everyone is in the same resort. We were all so exhausted after going out all night the night before so we decided to just hang-out at the resort and go swimming. We didn’t make it there till around one o’clock so we had lunch at Olivia’s a restaurant located at our hotel. The rest of the day we just went swimming, laid-out and socialized. Later in the evening we went to Downtown Disney to go to the Rainforest CafĂ© for dinner, this concluded our evening. Then, the next day ...

DAY 2

DAY 2: Mallory’s 21st Birthday

After we all woke up, the girls Mallory, Allison and I had a day of pampering ahead of us compliments of Mallory’s mother as a birthday present. Our first stop was the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa where we received massages and pedicures. Then, our next stop was the salon located inside the hotel to get our hair done. All of this was in preparation for our night out in Downtown Disney for Mallory’s birthday. While we were doing this all afternoon, the boys Serge, Matt and Chris went golfing, and hung out by the pool all day. When we got back to the resort the guys were done swimming and it was time to get ready for “dinner” or at least that’s what Mallory thought. What Mallory didn’t know is that approximately 80 of her closest friends and family actually we in Disney as well and they were here for her surprise birthday party. Mallory’s mother rented out the BET Soundstage club in Pleasure Island for her to celebrate her 21st. As far as Mallory knew the six of us were just going to go out to dinner with her immediate family, who was also in Disney as well, and then we were going out in Pleasure Island. Now the hard part was to get Mallory to go to the BET Soundstage in Pleasure Island. Mallory’s mother worked out a plan with Disney so they would call our room and tell Mallory that since it was the year of a million dreams, she had won free passes to Pleasure Island for her and all friends since it was her 21st. In order to receive the passes for the evening they told her she had to pick them up at BET Soundstagebefore 6:00. This is where we ran into a problem Mallory thought we really had reservations at Wolf Gang Puck’s restaurant at 6:00 so she didn’t want to go get the passes. It took a lot of convincing to get Mal to go get the passes but she finally agreed. We arrived in Please Island around 6:00 and headed to BET Soundstage to pick up our “free passes”. When we got there the club employee said Mallory had to godownstairs into her office to get the tickets. But when Mallory went downstairs she was welcomed by 80 plus friends and family shouting “SURPRISE” at her. She was shocked and had absolutely no idea that this is what was awaiting her. The room was beautiful it was all decked out with balloons, confetti, music and tons of food. We spent the night drinking, dancing and eating at the club until 9:00. We were allowed to stay but they club was opening to the other guests so we decided to go check out the rest of Pleasure Island since they gave us wristbands for free entry to all the bars of Pleasure Island. This is where we moved from bar to bar until it was 3 in the morning and all the bars closed for the night. At this point we returned to our resort exhausted and went right to bed. Tomorrow...
